It was so much fun. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. I felt like I had been a model for the day. I loved getting my hair and makeup done. Being a busy mum it’s not often you get to treat yourself and really feel special.

On the day of your photo shoot your hair stylist will create the perfect look for you. Your makeup artist will discuss different options from a natural look through to the alluring ‘smoky eyes’ and red lips of the movie stars. It’s totally your choice whether you go with a more natural look to enhance your features, or opt for a little more drama.
For someone who hates having their photo taken this was a fantastic experience. I felt comfortable and at ease the whole time, in fact by the end of the session I felt more confident about myself and not apprehensive about being the subject of photos.

Everyone is likely to have a few nerves leading up to their photo shoot, that’s natural, but we can guarantee that your nerves will soon disappear when you realise just how much fun you are having! Being pampered in the beauty room, having your hair and makeup done, gives you a great sense of confidence and gets you ‘camera ready’.
As a specialist portrait photographer, I will capture you in the most flattering light of our beautiful natural light studio. I have photographed literally hundreds of women of all shapes and sizes over the years. I can assure you that you don’t need to worry about a thing.
Your finished portraits are polished in our signature studio style. We retouch to soften lines, remove shadows, brighten eyes, whiten teeth a little, and smooth skin to remove blemishes. We are not heavy handed by any means. Your images still need to look like you.
On the morning of the shoot I was anxious, nervous, embarrassed and excited all in one. Having my hair and makeup done was very relaxing. I was enjoying myself so much that I didn’t want it to end. I felt so relaxed and comfortable having the photos taken. It was a great experience and I loved every minute.
